Vegetative growth ramps up fast outdoors. This is the window for topping, low-stress training, and building the structure that will hold weight in flower. Feed on a normal veg schedule.
Common mistakes at this stage
- Topping too late — after week 27 there isn't enough veg time left for the plant to recover and branch out before the flip.
- Under-feeding. Outdoor plants in full sun eat more than the bottle label suggests.
